For older kids and teens: Friday’s 3:45-4:00 until 5:15-5:30. ( arrival time can vary depending on students dismissal from school) This class will focus on improving drawing skills through various drawing projects. It will be oriented towards kids who like art and want to get better at drawing. Some of the topics we will cover include : Contour line drawing, line quality, positive and negative space, drawing to create form, and linear and atmospheric perspective. Class is designed to run in two 4 week sessions.
Students may be given short sketchbook assignments to do between sessions.
First session will meet Friday, January 11, then January 18, January 25, and February 3.
